Furthermore, I cannot have words in different sizes or colours, cannot centralise. I used to not even know how to paragraph my words!

But moving on to a new blog isn’t as easy as you think.

We need to first think of a good name. One that is easy to remember & people can link to us.
I tried searching for wendylim.bs, & it’s already taken.
Searched for wendythewitch.bs, also taken. Sighs.

Even if I can come up with a suitable-sounding name, I still have to trouble over getting a nice blogskin, nice font etc.

In my secondary school days, blogs were all the rage.
Everyone had one, & of course, so did I.

If i’m not wrong, secondary school was sunshineinerain.blogspot.com.
Then, when I shifted to poly, it became toonpoppers.livejournal.com, which is still around because I haven’t deleted it for memories’ sake. This had all my adventures in France, ups & downs in poly, the loss of a close friend…

& now the bloody ‘jumping’ thingy is at work. SHITTZ.

Just hypothetically.

It’s really funny! The part regarding 部首, I was really clueless as well! Afterall, we’re not educated in Taiwan, hor?

Recently I’ve just been staying home since working at Suntec.
Working as the SPH promoter for those longest 3 days in my life, was really tiring & mind-boggling.

But I managed to drag myself up & went swimming & cycling today! hahaha.
On a health-kick, I suppose. Afterall, I slacked at home for almost 2 days. (:

However, I’m still considered OUT OF JOB.
& I’m bored out of my skin.

Can someone please intro me some light jobs to do?

Haven’t been in the mood for pasta/spaghetti for quite some time, especially since I’ve been eating them non-stop whilst I was studying in France.
Pasta was easy to cook, & I managed to master cooking it within 10minutes, includ. boiling of water.
I ate pasta as a snack, while watching movies on my laptop.
I ate pasta as a staple food.

Suddenly feel like eating pasta again after one year! (:

Currently tied down at Suntec, promoting SPH’s newspaper subscriptions. I’ll be there all the way till Sunday.
Therefore it’s unlikely I’l post an entry till Monday.

I used to find promoting SPH so easy from past experience at AMK hub, but today I was proven utterly wrong.
I saw all the ‘kiasuiums’ in people, the ferocity, the pushing & shoving.
Thank god nobody dared to shove me, or I’ll prolly be squashed like a fly.

But those people dared to scream at me though. I got SCREAMED at for 3 hours, & all I could do is to apologize, for the incompetency of the system created by the staff.

Sighs, haven’t been scolded like this for a long time.
But many of them apologized to me after that, so I didn’t feel like crap……too much.

& I guess you guys also know about me making through the rounds during the SQ interview on 8th April.
I stil have one more left, which is the final round before medical.

I’m quite happy, because I managed to break the Curse of The One-to-One Interview, which I always got stucked at. & I also passed the kebaya-trying after that too!

Now I’m in a bit of a dilemma, frankly. Because I seem to like Jetstar more than SQ now.

Frankly, I’m not very enthusiastic about attending the SQ interview tomorrow.
Somehow, once I set my sights on something, I don’t want to give that up so easily.

& now my sights are set on Jetstar.

OH!! Btw, I’ll be joining Jetstar International, not Jetstar Asia!
The main difference? I’ll be flying more international routes, such as Phuket, Japan, Australia & New Zealand.

& I think some ignorant people don’t know yet.
Jetstar, though a ‘budget airline’, does not take off from the Budget Terminal.
Their main base is Terminal 1.
That’s also where my training crew room is going to be.

Interesting! (: Though I won’t get to fly to Europe or USA (there’s still a chance to fly to Honolulu, Hawaii!), but I’ve been to most of the European cities that I’d love to go, and USA, hmm. Not that enthusiastic too I guess.
If I was, I would have chosen to go Disneyland Orlando for attachment instead of going France to study.

So yeap. I’m still contemplating if I should go for SQ tomorrow.
& I need to plan my finances if I am to join JQ.

Medical, dental x-ray, criminal background check & bond does not come cheap.
Sighs…

Thank you all for supporting my blog, & also for those who know me personally, thank you for the encouragement. I really appreciate all of you who supports my dream.

However, I need to stress that NOT EVERYONE I know is supportive of what I do.
It upsets me to a certain extent, because as a person, I definitely wish for the people around me to be happy & to support me spiritually and mentally.

Undoubtly, Jetstar will never be able to compare to SQ in terms of providing services, provide entertainment during long-haul flights, offer you drinks FOC.

But I hope you guys can see what I see in Jetstar.

Approachability, humility and the passion to fly.

To me, these are the main characteristics which I think ANY cabin crew ought to have.
It doesn’t matter how much difference SQ pays for the basic, how much allowance they are going to give, or which country you can fly to.

I cannot deny that SQ is really good. SQ has always been my goal, an aim, whether realistic or not.
I’m merely taking a longer route to achieving it, so I hope you guys do not insult this company nor question my passion for this industry.

If you are supportive regardless of any airline as long as I’ll be happy, thank you. I LOVE YOU.

If you tell me how sucky or lousy Jetstar is, and how lousy I am not to make it for SQ, GO FUCK YOURSELVES.

That being said, I hope I made myself clear.
No longer will I entertain stupid and insensitive comments from twits.

Today:
I headed down to HTT (Holiday Tours & Travel) this morning to the briefing.
HTT is the sister-company of the airline I’m joining, & will be our correspondent. If I’m not wrong, Carrie is working in that office but I didnt see her.
Anyway, I didn’t manage to take bus because I was late. Wondering what to wear is such a hassle.

I simply wore a white blouse, black high-waist skirt & a purple scarf that was tied into a huge bow. (:
Simply love this ensemble, because many ppl complimented it & thought it was an airline uniform. haha.

The contract was more or less explained to us, & we still need to prepare many things.
I guess my entire week is packed, more or less.

As you all can see, I’m stalking facebook, twitter & expats forum from dawn to dusk.
Not exactly the best past-time, but I’m just trying to PAST TIME, geddit?? haha!
Okay, enough of lame jokes.

I guess working in the events industry has honed my sleeping skills. My body clock is tuned in the way that I CANNOT sleep more than 8 hours.

Anyway! Tomorrow’s the day which I’ll be heading down to Paragon area for the Pre-employment briefing. (: I chose the earliest day and earliest timeslot in order to better prepare myself mentally.
I’ll most likely take a bus too, because long bus rides simply give me more time to think & clear my thoughts.

Today’s a REALLY lucky day for me! (:
I had previously ordered a bag & pants from an online blog, & after waiting for more than 3 weeks than the stipulated date, they told me that my parcel was mailed but yet nothing was traced from Singpost.

& suddenly today, my package arrived! (: Super surprising!
So now, I have a new bag & teal-coloured pants! Weee! Contemplating to wear them out tomorrow for the briefing!

& speaking of the briefing, I received an email from SIA.
The previous time I went, the queues were so long that the line got cut just a pax before me. & now, they’ve shortlisted and invited us back again for the interview.
Sighs, just when I was so happy & contented with Jetstar, I had to receive this.

I’m not saying I’m giving up Jetstar.
SQ will always be part of my dream, & I had intended to take a longer route to achieving that. If i’m given a chance to take a short-cut now, I will go for it.
Especially since I haven’t sign the contract with JQ.

So I guess it all depends on what’s the employment briefing tomorrow about, & also my results for the SQ interview this coming Thursday.
